Where have we been?

Before summer started we bought season passes to a water park here in town. The summer's here in Arkansas are pretty grueling going outside takes your breath away. We have had heat index of 105 so far and the humidity is the worst part. We also had a very rainy season so the mosquitos are bad. Working in my garden at night comes with great risk!

Of course Lily loves it. She is so good. Plays by herself and does not need my attention. Noah on the other hand need me. He is timid in the water and take a minute to warm up to it.

We break for lunch and then keep going.

Silly Lily

Here she is being so silly. Trying to do the splits, stomping around yelling! She has so much personality.

We have decided that the "kimichi squat is a genetic" both of my kids sit like this. I'm not sure how they learned to sit like this I don't sit like this. I don't think that are around my mom enough to learn this squat.

Sushi

Isn't my mom great. She made my mom tiny kim-bap rolls for my kids. Lily popped them like they were candy. It had avacodo, cucumber, carrots, and radish in it.

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19

We practiced fishing in Hominy's fountain....

Then we geared up and headed out...

We waited....

and waited...

broke for a photo shoot...

then we caught a fish...

and another....

he threw him back in and said "I want to go home." So we did.

Swinging with Hominy

Stealing Watermelon again...

Lily pulled this chair up all by herself.

The poor flowers don't stand a chance here...

Rio Grande Aquarium and Gardens

Today I took the kids to the Bio-park. The aquarium and the gardens were together. It was tons of fun and I think the kids liked it more than the zoo.

This is the entrace into the children's garden.

The garden reminded me of Honey I shrunk the kids. Everything was really big.

We stayed here in this train garden for 45 minutes at least. This garden was huge. It had several trains running through.

Here is Lily letting it be known that she was done looking at the trains.

They had a farm in the gardens. Here they are chasing chickens.

Climber

Noah is very cautious...until lately. He is climbing climbing and then jumping. It is fun to see him be a little boy.

Swing

She is almost 15 months old now. Crazy to think that when Noah was her age I had a new born baby! She can do pretty much anything she wants but to me she is still such a baby.

Hunting for worms, snails and anything else that crawls

Martin and Doug

I have been using my mom's camera to take pictures of everyone. All have been with out editing so far so hopefully they look even better after editing. I will post them if they do.
